Workshop: Into the Hangar

I have finished moving things to the hangar and tidied my space up a little.

The space is in the shape of an airplane (who could have guessed?!) and the view seen above is the space the fuselage will take up. However, due to the nature of the hangar, there are wooden pillars holding the roof up. Sadly, they are not spaced far enough apart for a Sling TSi’s 9.54m wingspan.

However, this space is enough to at the very least finish the aircraft right up to the point where I have to put the wings on it, at which point I will move it elsewhere.

I also need to make up a frame for storing completed parts. I will work on that in the coming weeks. For now, the tool wall I’ve made is also good enough to keep the horizontal stabiliser and elevator off the ground. Next, I will be working to complete the vertical stabiliser and rudder, while waiting on the rest of the kit to arrive.
